- Abstract
- The basic assumption of this project is that we Christians in the mainline churches need opportunities to articulate and deepen our faith in God. This project report describes a course called 'Owning Our Faith,' which was one attempt to provide such an opportunity. A group of 12 'pilgrims' looked at faith development theories and what it means to become a mature person of faith, shared spiritual autobiographies, engaged in self-discovery through the Myers Briggs Type indicator, explored new mission opportunities, developed our own patterns of prayer, and clarified assumptions about how to study the Bible. We all enriched our faith.
