Abstract
  • Churches may fail to achieve their stated visions because they are ineffective at hiring 'right fit' pastors. Thus two hypotheses were studied using the case study method in two 'vision achieving' churches: (1) There is an association between those hiring decision-makers in the local church who pray and the church actually fulfilling its vision; and (2) There is an association between those hiring decision-makers in the local church who use best business hiring practices and a church actually fulfilling its vision. The results showed strong correlation between churches as well as with the right-fit hiring process developed herein.
