Abstract
  • Focusing on the specific issues of marital satisfaction, the researcher used both assessments and case studies. All involved in the research believed their intimacy increased, they communicated on a different level, and their ability to resolve conflict increased. However, marital satisfaction only improved in couples where just one spouse was an Adult Child of an Alcoholic. In both were, their marital satisfaction did not improve. Further research is recommended for scientific studies for Christian couples who are both Adult Children of Alcoholics.
