In Bejeweled pig snout: appropriate use of humor in preaching, the author offers an assessment of the compatibility of humor with modern preaching. Research includes an overview of Old and New Testament examples of humor; the various types, styles, and sources of humor; and a nonprofessional's look at how humor works.
