Abstract
  • This project addresses the growing cultural reality of the emergence of the blending-family as a new model for many families. The lack of systems support and tools for assisting these families both in and out of the church was met by adapting the Twelve-steps of Alcoholics Anonymous to the blending-family. Eight couples spent nine two-hour sessions creating and working the Twelve-steps for the blending-family. This group will continue to meet to share their experience, strength and hope with other blending-families.
