- This project equipped selected parents of children in grades 1-6 at First Baptist Church Trussville, Alabama to teach their children selected spiritual disciplines. First, the project director researched spiritual disciplines and effective methods used in teaching children. Second, he developed a course to train selected parents in these discipleship skills. Third, he implemented the course by training selected parents. Participants attended five sessions on selected disciplines, and they took a pre-test and post-test to aid in evaluation. The director found the course to be successful in training parents and plans to implement it further in the future.
