Abstract
  • The local church is viewed by some as a family structure that includes persons who seek a familial relationship with those in the household of faith. This project presents foundation material on family functions and structures, along with sociological, biblical, and theological examples, in support of the concept that the church, the Body of Christ, can be imaged as a family structure. A local church survey, preaching series, and response booklet are presented on the concept of the church as family.
