Abstract
  • The project demonstrates how Bible study can be more effective and meaningful when the teacher understands and employs motivational strategies. A leader learns because he is 'motivated' to learn. By employing six simple motivational principles, a teacher will achieve increased teaching effectiveness as the learner becomes increasingly motivated to learn. Teaching/learning theories and methodologies were researched and a theology of motivation was developed. The informal measurements suggest learning can be affected and influenced by using a motivational plan in conjunction with the teaching plan.
