Abstract
  • Addressing leadership deficiency at Clear Lake Baptist Church through the education and application of servant leadership principles was the project intent. The project director designed and implemented a three-part sermon series and seven-part training course to increase knowledge in the principles and practices of servant leadership. Participants answered identical pre- and post-course questionnaires and a class assessment form. Both reading and evaluation teams of educators analyzed the responses. Their analysis revealed significant cognitive growth, willingness to apply these principles to current leadership roles, and a favorable reaction to the course structure, content, and instructor.
