  • The purpose of this project is to develop a spiritual formation strategy using small groups at Southside Baptist Church in Ruston, Louisiana. The project director researched various small group models and methods of strategic spiritual formation for a standard for curriculum development. The director identified and enlisted a strategy team at Southside Baptist Church. He used six sessions to equip the strategy team to develop a strategy. The strategy team developed a spiritual formation strategy using small groups. Finally, the project director carried out an initial evaluation of the completed strategy.
