Abstrait

This project proposes that fasting as a Christian discipline should be taught and modeled in local churches, leading members of a local congregation to understand and experience the value of fasting. In nine small-group sessions participants study biblical and practical aspects of fasting and then fast for a designated time. Each group member is paired with an accountability partner. The project prepares and delivers sermon series on fasting as spiritual discipline, encouraging church members to respond. Group participants learn about fasting and experience a deeper relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
