Abstract
  • The influx of teenage mothers is on the rise in Trench Town Seventh-Day Adventist Church. These young mothers are experiencing spiritual needs and the church is seeking to put in place principles and guidelines that will enable them to meet their daily needs. In this paper a proposed definitive statement is presented, a basic guideline, and principle are outlined in sequence. Strategy, goals, and an action plan are suggested for the church. This study suggests a pattern of thought, an approach to dealing with problems of teenage mothers. From interviews surveys, and information from literature relevant to teenagers, this project proposes to equip the church to minister effectively to the needs of these teenage mothers and to give a better directive to their lives in the church and community.
