Abstract
  • The research question is whether a leadership training program for the young adult Christians at Sungshan Church, Taipei, will enable these Christians to demonstrate greater understanding of four variables--vision, communication, trust, and deployment of self--related to effective leadership as pointed out by Warren Bennis and Burt Nanus. Instruments used for measurement included 11 interview questions given prior to and after the training, 4 cognitive tests, and a seminar evaluation form. Findings revealed that the program had enabled the participants to be equipped with the concepts of effective leadership needed for doing effective ministry.
