Abstract
  • In this project, I define the need some college students have to find a person with whom they can express their doubts and questions about God. I propose a theology of chaplaincy that implies the campus pastor should be such a person. I demonstrate that such spirituality has biblical and theological foundations. I show how involvement in worship planning, Bible study and the arts nurture such spirituality. Through a narrative case study, I demonstrate how such nurture occurred on one college campus. Finally, I reflect on how the project enhanced my understanding of pastoral ministry at a church-related college.
