Abstract
  • This project used a survey to determine if there exists a relationship between spiritual maturity and the ability to cope with the challenges of aging. The results indicated that there was such a relationship. In other words, more spiritual maturity meant a more positive coping with the challenges of aging. Spiritual maturity was determined by measuring a set of spiritual attitudes and spiritual practices. While these two components cannot guarantee the development of spiritual maturity, they are usually present in those persons who have achieved a higher degree of spiritual maturity.
