Abstract
  • This study explores how Mexican church leaders attending the worship seminars presented by the author are applying what they learned within their cultural context. The research method was a qualitative multisite case study of three Mexican churches using standardized open-ended interviews. This research found that though leaders were helped to understand and apply worship principles they were not stimulated to think contextually about worship. The failure of American missionaries to inculturate worship continues to influence the National Presbyterian Church of Mexico.
