Abstract
  • The project purpose was to lead a Baptist congregation to develop new adult small groups in homes and other satellite locations. The project was necessary because of both space and financial restrictions. A task group was trained with a leadership training manual written by the author. Participants in the training program were then enlisted to lead new adult small groups. The project resulted in the establishment of several new groups. The strategy has since been adopted by the congregation as the primary small group philosophy and has allowed the congregation to almost double its attendance.
