Abstract
  • This project sought to equip leadership for church growth in a multi-congregational fellowship by allowing individuals in such a setting to work through an educational process of self-study, biblical study and strategy planning. Individuals discovered the unique needs of their congregation through guided lectures and brainstorming sessions utilizing historical, personal and biblical resources. They then defined biblical understandings of New Testament church growth. From this they developed strategies for growth that addressed their specific needs, and embraced these biblical insights. The growth process, thus defined, involved and equipped participants for service in their respective congregations. The strategy reflected insights from participants' experience as well as the Bible, and addressed the unique context of each congregation.
