  • A target group of 15 nominally Christian Roman Catholics in suburban Austria was selected. The researcher trained a team to befriend and evangelize this target group using relational evangelism methods and larger group activities. Emphasis was given to using contemporary methods which would appeal to the audience's felt needs. At the conclusion of the research, the target group was surveyed and compared with a control group of similar people. The three-month ministry resulted in significant differences in the target group in their responsiveness toward the gospel.
