- Abstract
- The purpose of the project was to equip a selected group of believers at the First Baptist Church of Pine Castle in Orlando, Florida to make disciples using a triad model. The project was accomplished in three phases. The first phase was conducting the research. The research focused on biblical models of disciple-making, specifically the inner circle model of Jesus. The research also focused on the processes of mentoring, coaching, and reproducing disciples. In the second phase, the project director developed a set of lesson plans. The lesson plans were used in a fast-track training for making disciples using a triad model. The final phase was the implementation phase. In this phase the project director trained a selected group of believers to become disciple-makers using the triad model. At the conclusion of the project, the project participants were asked to make a commitment to make disciples using a triad model. The participants were asked to pray for forty days about continuing the process of making disciples.
