Abstract
  • This project developed two series of small group meetings for interested men of the Fort Burd United Presbyterian Church of Brownsville, Pa., where women outnumber men by two to one. Research focused on male spirituality and small group dynamics. Scriptures that emphasized spiritual relationships, spiritual growth, and spiritual commitment directed the group and helped strengthen relationships with God and each other. Discussion questions and a closing exercise for each meeting are included in the paper. The author, who was actively involved in the group, received feedback from written questionnaires and personal interviews showing a positive experience for all involved.
