Abstract
  • The purpose of this project was to enhance spiritual growth and church involvement among new adult church members. A series of sermons and sermon interactions was utilized to increase the congregation's awareness of the need for training new adult members in discipleship. A curriculum was designed that consisted of ten discipleship training sessions. To determine the effectiveness of the program, the experimental research method was used. One, of three established groups of new adult members participated in the discipleship program, achieved the most significant increase in spiritual well-being and church involvement.
