Abstract
  • The project describes and analyzes a delphi study of church relations policy and practice for Lutheran Social Services of Minnesota. The results of this study are incorporated in further theological reflection. The concluding chapter outlines a proposed model for future church relations programs. This model consists of seven foundational principles and five practical suggestions. Taking seriously both the delphi study and the Lutheran doctrine of the two kingdoms, the model challenges the agency to engage in church relations as a theological task which requires political strategy. Delphi questionnaires are included.
