  • This report presents the results of a project designed to help seminary students and student families manage the stress of life events and changes. Theological, historical and practical bases are presented. The program includes the cognitive, skill development, and environmental aspects of stress management. Stress sources and coping patterns are evaluated through the use of family assessment inventories. Recommendations are suggested to help create a more supportive environment at the Equatorial Brazil Baptist Seminary in Belém, Pará, Brazil.
