Abstrakt

The purpose of this project was to equip the ministerial staff of First Baptist Church, Madison, Mississippi, in team building leadership skills. Training included six instructional sessions that lasted one and a half hours each. The sessions were taught from the text of Matt. 4:18-20, 1 Cor. 12:4-6, 2 Tim. 2:1-7, Eph. 4:29-32, John 15:5-8, and Matt. 9:16-17. The sessions were presented in one-week intervals with assignments to personally apply the content between sessions. The six sessions included a common purpose, clear role expectations, solid relationships, team processes, leadership, and communication.
