Abstract
  • The goal of this dissertation arose out of the need for conflict resolution in SBKA churches in North Texas. The first two chapters draw an introductory portrait of ministry needs. The next chapter describes six phases of methodology necessary to achieve this goal, followed by a theologically constructed foundation in chapter four. The next two chapters use examples of church conflict found in the New Testament and describe the findings from survey analysis. The remaining chapters conclude with a summation of previous chapters and offers four practical recommendations key to managing church conflict in leadership, communication, trigger issues, and resolution approach.
