Abstract
  • Research showed more people come to church through members. If people would focus their prayer lives on evangelism, would they become instruments of good news to others? Using Terry Tekyl's Personal Prayer-Evangelism Guide in a Sunday school program, participants were asked to pray daily. To measure evangelistic change, participants answered a questionnaire, once initially, another after the study, and the last twelve weeks later. Positive changes were seen in participants' prayer habits, attitudes, and evangelistic activities. A recommendation for future projects would be to add prayer journaling and/or discipling to help establish a stronger discipline of prayer.
