Abstract
  • The objective of this Research in Ministry project was to develop for Heart and Hand Ministries, a United Methodist Mission Project within the north central West Virginia gepgraphic area of Appalachia, a self-actualized employee team that could analyze situations and develop action plans. The action research methodology of this project was that of 'human inquiry.' This employee team, through regular meetings has begun to understand each other's program responsibilities, and has developed an inclusive process to address issues that affect Heart and Hand Ministries' ability to fulfill the mission statement, with the outcome embraced as a team effort.
