Chapter 2 provides a biblical foundation by examining specific prays of Abraham, Jonah and Nehemiah from the Old Testament, and the instructions on pray by Jesus and Paul in the New Testament;a further theological study in this chapter considers the impact such a ministry may have upon a church. Chapter 3 examines the visible needs for a prayer ministry, the obstacles to such a ministry, the kinds of prayer needed in such a ministry, the steps for starting such a ministry, and the historical role of such a ministry in American revivals. Chapter 4 gives the steps taken to implement this project, and chapter 5 gives an evaluation, conclusion and future recommendations concerning this project.
