Abstract
  • Racially diverse churches are increasing in the United States but warrant further research. This project studied the participation in and satisfaction with The Moody Church for the various racial groups in congregation. Based upon the biblical foundation for racially diverse local churches, the goal of the project was to increase the involvement of racial minorities throughout the life of the church--including membership, service, and leadership. The research design included a congregational survey, focus group meetings, and the responses of church leadership. Recommendations and next steps for increasing minority involvement in church life are specified.
