Abstract
  • The purpose of this project was to supervise a select group of four ministry leaders in Hudson Baptist Association churches as they acquire skills necessary for coaching other ministry leaders while utilizing materials from CoarchNet International Ministries. The ministry leaders were equipped in both classroom training and individual coaching sessions with their coach mentor while they coached two other coachees for a period of three months. The participants successfully acquired an understanding of the biblical foundation and principles of coaching while achieving a demonstrated improvement in the nine CoachNet coaching competencies. These advancements were shown through cognitive pre- and post-tests and pre- and post-project competency assessments.
