Abstract
  • For successful evangelism and discipleship in the postmodern age, Christians must live out what they believe incorporating spiritual disciplines as taught by Jesus such as prayer, praise, fasting, etc., and obeying His commands to love God and love others. Research methods included a review of related literature and practical application in a church setting. Conclusions include: practice spiritual disciplines such as prayer and fasting; simplifying gospel message (come to Christ, not come to church); and go to where the people are, do not expect them to come to us.
