- Abstract
- Caribbean Christians need a definition for 'cult,' information and resources about cultic groups, and development of their critical skills in understanding and witnessing to cult members. The primary goal was to teach a course entitled 'Caribbean cults' for two weeks to Caribbean students at Barbados Baptist College. The thirteen class members defined 'cult,' gathered resources and information about the cults, outlined the information by a given format, and increased their witnessing skills to cult members. The class requested the college trustees to incorporate the cult course into the college curriculum on a regular basis.
