Abstract
  • The propose of this project is to create a handbook that will provide essentials for women to transition from the call to the pastorate in the local Baptist churches who are members of the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship in the State of Maryland. The specific focus of this project is to identify ten essentials that will provide information and guidelines that could help women move through the process. Seventeen respondents from the Maryland Fellowship evaluated the handbook and determined that regardless of gender, the material could be used to navigate the turbulent waters from call to the pastorate.
