- The author builds on the thesis that a major concern for the field of ministry has always been to seek an effective approach that reaches out to the people of God in the contemporary and changing spiritual needs of the world. To achieve this goal, he opines that more practical training is essentially necessary in ministerial formation. The outcome of his research among, especially, the Catholic population through interviews and questionnaires, confirms this. His project on Field Education and Supervision is, therefore, intended to facilitate and become a model for practical pastoral formation, especially in St. Victor's Seminary.
