Abstract
  • Though neglected by Baptists as a prayer resource, the Psalms can provide great insight and guidance for Baptists in both their corporate and personal prayer lives. The project involved a series of four corporate worship sessions, and a personal devotional book written by the author of the project. Participants in the project completed a series of questionnaires to measure the project's effect. The project demonstrated that the Psalms enhanced the personal prayer lives of most participants through increasing their knowledge and motivating their use of Psalms as a tool for prayer.
