Abstract
  • The dysfunction of the family in American culture is partially due to the demise of healthy marriage relationships. Through a historical reflection of the marriage enrichment movement, the formulation of a theology of marriage, a six-session marriage enrichment course, and an overnight marriage enrichment retreat, the church offensively offers a means of helping make good marriages better. Applicable tools of empowerment for improvement are endowed to the participants, and implementation of such a specifically designed project has given evidence of some success in helping strengthen good marriages.
