  • The purpose of this project in ministry was to develop a disciple-making strategy for First Baptist Church of Bayou La Batre, Alabama (FBC BLB). The project director researched the demographics of the community to understand dynamics affecting the church's ministry context. He also researched existing disciple-making strategies to develop an understanding of the primary components necessary for a disciple-making strategy. The project director facilitated the development of a disciple-making strategy with a group of selected church leaders. The membership of FBC BLB approved the strategy in business session.
