Abstract
  • This work reflects the author's threefold vision focusing on an international renewal of ethnic churches, a spiritual reformation of the Hungarian Reformed churches, and a missions revolution of the post-communist world. The project intersects church revitalization, missions, and biblical leadership. Its purpose was to empower a small group of lay people in the Hungarian Reformed Church (Columbus, Ohio) through a seven month training program to promote the revitalization of their congregation. Participants showed the greatest changes in their personal spiritual lives, in short-term planning for growth, and in formulating non-negotiable pillars of the church. Recommendations concerning church revitalization are included.
