Abstract
  • The church today is good at making its members feel welcomed and providing them comfort, but less good at challenging them to be disciples. They are simply asked to follow the early church, that is, to be accountable as disciples who love God and people and make disciples. The researcher motivated the congregation to experience God in life-transforming ways and exert discipleship in their ordinary lives through small group ministry. In the supportive and challenging atmosphere of a small group, they encouraged and were encouraged to confess, love, and share life and faith.
