Abstract
  • The purpose of this project was to strengthen the communication between pastor and people, particularly through the preaching process. A survey of listener needs was given to identify sermon topics. From the survey three sermons were selected and developed by the pastor and a small group called the Parish Project Group (PPG). Following each sermon a congregational feedback meeting was conducted to determine how the sermons were received by those attending. The study concluded with noting implications for future preaching in the church that was studied.
