Abstract
  • Papua New Guinea is a nation whose culture has historically been shaped by primal religion, yet has recently experienced the impact of Christianity. Although Christianity has influenced the people, their worldview has yet to be fully transformed into one centered on Christ. This Christological study seeks to help Papua New Guineans attain a worldview that glorifies Christ. Relying on written sources, this study explores the culture of Papua New Guinea, establishes a process for transforming a worldview, develops principles of contextualization, and builds contextualization bridges from Scripture to culture in order to help Papua New Guineans achieve a Christ-centered worldview.
