Abstrakt

The writer wanted to find out what the obstacles are that hinder effective church planting among the immigrants in Nairobi and how the obstacles can be removed. The writer used library research as well as spending three weeks in Nairobi City. He found three main obstacles: cultural, social and spiritual. In an attempt to show how these obstacles can be removed, he discusses a model of church planting which he hopes to implement upon his return to Kenya.
