- This project is a revision of the 1662 Book of Common Prayer (BCP) for the 1988 Australian Bicentenary of the Collects and Communion Lectionary. It assumes the value of this classical Anglican liturgy. The revision project is based on modern biblical and theological study which concentrates on christology and trinitarian doctrine. Some reference is made to the Australian context in which the BCP is used. Revision of the collects is assisted by theological and linguistic criticism. Revision of the lectionary is assisted by parish experimental use.
