Abstract
  • The purpose of this dissertation is to enable change in Christian character through the deepening of self-awareness, which precipitates a life long process of transformational spiritual development. Research methodology consisted of quantitative and qualitative measures used sequentially to study existing and post-intervention Christian character levels. Through focus on self-awareness and gift-awareness, statistically significant change occurred. Coming to self-awareness readies one for transformational spiritual development, and when that awareness is expanded to the study of the character of Christ and discovery of personal spiritual gift, inner transformation occurs leading to change in Christian character.
