- Within the kerygma, didache, koinonia, and diakonia of the early church, there lie clues for successful new church development today. Following his research the author analyzes similar components in the new church development he serves. With the aid of A church planning questionnaire by Grayson L Tucker Jr, and added questions developed from the research, the writer measures his church against that of the rapidly growing new churches of the first three centuries. Areas of similarity and weakness were identified. The conclusions will hopefully help future new church developments as they begin and proceed with the work of building the body of Christ.
