Abstract
  • The purpose of this project was to increase lay involvement in the decision-making process and in the administration of Calvary Baptist Church. A curriculum was designed that consisted of six sessions on the biblical and theological bases for shared ministry. A study of similar churches was conducted in four sessions. Recommendations to increase lay involvement were formulated in the final two sessions. The project was evaluated by the experimental and descriptive survey methods. A group of key leaders in the church participated in the training sessions and achieved significant increase in knowledge related to shared ministry.
