Abstrakt

This project provides the core content for a Field Ministries Handbook for Pioneer Bible Translators (PBT). The content for the Proposed Field Ministries Handbook was provided by an analysis of internal documents, a survey of field leaders, interviews, and correspondence. The project report sets the proposed handbook in its historical, biblical, and organizational contexts, reflecting documentary research, biblical exegesis, and interviews with PBT veterans and representatives from other translation agencies. The project revealed the need for unity and diversity, guidance and freedom, as PBT's Field Ministries Division fulfills its mission to transform lives through God's Word in every language.
