A Bible study using narrative theological components can lead to valuable insights, healthier living practices, and spiritual healing benefits for participants. The author combined various non-biblical narrative media alongside biblical texts to lead participants into their own personal narratives. His process brought the participants valuable insights into their own stories through the principles of narrative collapse and restoration, the uncovering of one's counter stories, the creative healing process of re-storying, claiming one's narrative value versus intrinsic value, the damaging influence of externalizing, and the healing power of God's story against the oppressors' story, leading to healthier life decisions and practices.
