Abstract

This project is the author's effort to create and coordinate training for parishioners of St Rita Parish, Fort Worth, Texas, in ministries which address the physical needs of people for adequate food, clothing, shelter, transportation, or similar resources. The project includes five training sessions which provide time for prayer, study, presentations by persons in service institutions or agencies, and discussions on social ministry. The project provides limited field experiences in the community, and opportunities for prayer and reflection upon the mission of the church to charity and to justice.
